Police Locate Missing Elderly Woman with Help from Citizens

The whereabouts of the missing persons could be determined based on information provided by citizens. According to this, passers-by met the 74-year-old helplessly on June 5 on public roads and alerted the fire brigade, who took the woman to a hospital. With the help of the public search, the identity of the woman could be clarified in the hospital and her whereabouts communicated.

With the publication of a photo, the criminal police of Directorate 4 (South) are looking for a woman suffering from dementia. The 74-year-old has been missing in Schöneberg since Monday, June 5, 2023. According to the current status of the investigation, the elderly woman left the senior citizens’ residential community on Münchener Strasse before 2 p.m. unnoticed. The elderly woman suffers from dementia and only responds to her first name. She has no personal papers with her.
