NEW YORK – Dead person found wrapped in black bag identified on Brooklyn sidewalk over the weekendPolice said. The victim was identified as a 49-year-old man and his death was declared a homicide, the uniformed woman added.
The cause of death of Christopher Adams, who was found by officers responding to a 9-1-1 call Saturday about a “black person-shaped bag,” has not been released. The body was on a sidewalk in Cypress Hills near Van Sinderen Avenue and Herkimer Street.
The area where the body was found had a lot of trash, police said previously.
It’s unclear if anyone tried to make the bag look like another large garbage item.
No arrests have been made. No other details were immediately available.
