In the city there were about a hundred units of Russian military equipment, which the invaders abandoned, fleeing the Ukrainian armed forces on bicycles.
The Russian army abandoned its heavy equipment in Izyum, as there was nothing to refuel it. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Enin on his page in Facebook.
According to him, the invaders ran out of fuel, so they had to flee by bicycle.
“One of the policemen, when asked why the Russians left so much military equipment (more than 100 units) in Izyum, noticed that the orcs simply ran out of fuel, and therefore had to flee, in particularly on a bicycle, said Enin.
According to him, units of the national police entered the city together with the Ukrainian armed forces. Now the police, along with rescuers from the State Emergency Service, are working to restore law and order, repair the traces of war crimes, mine the territory, provide humanitarian aid and restore Izyum to normal life.
