Police Duga Metro TV Editor Yodi Prabowo Depression after an examination at the RSCM

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Police suspect Metro TV editor Yodi Prabowo was depressed after going to a dermatologist and genital doctor at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital. It is suspected that Yodi committed suicide due to depression.

“Is there (consultation with a dermatologist and genitals) related to the alleged suicide? Very closely related to the possibility of depression. But this was explained by experts in the field of forensic psychology, “said Director of the General Criminal Investigation, Commissioner Tubagus Ade Hidayat in a press conference at the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Saturday (7/25) morning.

The possibility of depression was obtained by the police from the examination and testimony of forensic psychology witnesses. The police links the facts of the investigation with the statements of expert witnesses.

Previously, the police found a financial transaction at the RSCM. There, Yodi paid the test and consultation fees a few days before he died.

“The team found a record of financial transactions in RSCM Kencana. There he was involved in tests and consuls at the RSCM, “said Tubagus.

Yodi underwent tests and consultations at the RSCM Skin and Venereology Disease. He was then advised by a doctor to undergo an HIV test.

The police strongly suspected the existence of health problems that made Yodi go to the hospital as a motive for suicide victims.

However, Yodi never took the results of the medical tests that she lived at RSCM Kencana until finally reported missing and was found dead on the edge of the JORR Pesanggrahan toll road, South Jakarta on July 10, 2020.

A week after Yodi’s death, the police had mentioned the possibility of Yodi committing suicide. However, the police are still steeped in the evidence and witness statements.

Yodi’s body was found by three small children who play kites. Yodi was face down near the wall.

Yodi was found wearing a helmet, wearing a green jacket, wearing black pants, wearing shoes and wearing a bag. Yodi is estimated to have died on Wednesday (07/08/2020) around 00.00-02.00 WIB.

Before being found dead, Yodi was last seen at Metro TV’s office on Tuesday (7/7/2020) at 22:27 WIB.
