Police clocks motorist at 235 kilometers per hour

The police report this on Twitter. The driver was spotted during a speed check on the A4 near The Hague when he was driving 235 kilometers per hour in a place where you can drive 100 kilometers per hour.

Siren

Agents then tried to stop the car by driving behind the car with the siren. That did not work, because the man tried to run away quickly. On the A4 he caught up with people from the right and ignored a red traffic light on the Prinses Beatrixlaan in Rijswijk. He drove 180 kilometers per hour there. “Hereby the suspect almost lost control.”

In a residential area in Delft, the police managed to stop the man after he had lost control of the wheel. The driver was arrested immediately, his driver’s license and car were taken.

The motorist has also been reported to the CBR as a suspect for an ‘educational behavior measure’.
