Central Jakarta Metro Police arrested the alleged perpetrator of the secret hotel guest recording Bobobox.
“It is still in the process of clarification,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Teuku Arsya Khadafi when confirmed, Friday (14/5).
Arsya has not explained in more detail about the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the recording.
He only mentioned that the reporter, in this case the DE victim and the reported suspect who was the alleged perpetrator, is still being examined by the investigator.
“Yes, the reported and the reporter are being examined,” said Arsya.
It is known, the alleged case of sexual harassment experienced by DE began when he was staying at Bobobox on Tuesday (12/5). Then, when taking a shower, the victim found someone recording himself.
The incident he experienced was then uploaded by the victim via his personal Twitter account @bukaniqbaalee.
According to DE, the perpetrator who is known to be a fellow guest of the capsule hotel has committed a criminal offense by recording himself without permission while taking a shower.
“My demands in this case are to prosecute the perpetrator with criminal charges of recording without permission and harassment. Adjudicate the perpetrator with criminal behavior that is detrimental to business entities,” said DE via his personal Twitter, Thursday (14/5).
Meanwhile, Bobobox CEO, Indra Gunawan said that his party had carried out an internal investigation and had the identity of the perpetrator.
Not only that, said Indra, his party had blacklisted the perpetrators so that they could no longer stay at Bobobox hotels throughout Indonesia.
