A 59-year-old woman was cravenly robbed of her e-bike in Zwolle. As she lay bleeding in the street from a fall, her bicycle was taken by a man. Her panniers also contained valuables.
The incident took place on September 17, but the man has not yet been found. For this reason, the police showed the images on tonight’s investigative program A closer look.
The woman says that that day she suddenly had to brake at a traffic light and fell violently with her e-bike due to the wet road surface. She falls head over heels on the street. Passers-by rush to the rescue, and to give the police and ambulance crew room to move, one of them props his bicycle against a parking meter.

The images show how a man walks past the bicycle, comes back, looks again at the victim on the street and leaves on his bicycle. The woman’s wallet was also in one of the saddlebags. With his debit card, the perpetrator then withdrew 50 euros in cash from a café on the Karnebeekstraat, about 250 meters away.
The woman’s bags were later found, but her credit card, Kruidvat card and a bottle of Chanel perfume were missing. Even the bicycle, a Sparta e-bike F8e, is still not justified. The police are calling on anyone who might recognize the attacker to come forward.
