For the purposes of the “Economist” ranking, he analyzed economic data from 23 countries. The first indicator he took into account is the change in GDP since the end of 2019, which is said to give an idea of ​​the overall “health of the economy”. In this respect, countries whose economy is not dependent on tourism and were not affected by travel restrictions during the pandemic fare better.

Poland’s GDP in the selected period increased by 3.1%, income per capita increased by 3.3%, and the share price increased by 25.4%. In turn, investment expenditure fell by 7.1 percent, while the state debt reached 5 percent. GDP.

In the ranking, Spain fared the worst, whose GDP fell by 6.6%. The second place from the end was taken by Great Britain, with a GDP decline of 2.1%, and Japan, third, whose economy shrank by 1.9%.
