Poland cancels performances by former Pink Floyd icon Roger Waters after controversial open letter to President Zelensky’s wife

In Poland, the scheduled concerts of Roger Waters, a well-known British rock musician and founding member of Pink Floyd, were canceled after an open letter from Waters caused a lot of fuss. In the letter addressed to Olena Zelenska, wife of Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelensky, he wrote that the extremist nationalists in Ukraine have themselves sent the country into war. He also accused President Zelensky of failing to keep his election promises. The role that Russia plays in the conflict was not mentioned in the letter.
