1. Apartment fire in Offenbach
The fire brigade and police were called to Gustav-Adolf-Strasse in Offenbach early on Sunday morning to an apartment fire in an apartment building, in which four people were slightly injured by smoke gas. The fire broke out around 3:00 a.m. in the rooms of an apartment on the ground floor for reasons that have not yet been clarified. The occupants of the fire apartment and three other neighbors were injured by the resulting smoke gases that wafted through the stairwell. All were taken to a hospital for further evaluation as a precaution. The fire made the apartment uninhabitable. There was property damage of over 100,000 euros. The cause of the fire will be determined by the specialist inspectorate at the beginning of next week.
