Cologne public prosecutor and Cologne police announce:
After the fatal traffic accident yesterday afternoon (August 9) at around 1.45 p.m. on the A44 motorway just before the Jackerath motorway junction, the Cologne police are urgently looking for further witnesses. Traffic Commissariat 2, which has started investigating how the accident happened, which has not yet been clearly clarified, accepts information by calling 0221 229-0 or by email [email protected] opposite.
In addition to the deceased motorcyclist (56) and the Volvo driver (29), the driver (25) of a gray Fiat Ducato is currently considered another person involved in the accident. The 25-year-old Bedburger left the scene of the accident after a short stop. From his home address, he informed the police that he might have been involved in the accident. According to current knowledge, there was no collision between the van and the other two vehicles. (cs/iv).
