March- As the police became aware on August 5th, 2022, there was an incident on August 3rd, 2022, around 8 p.m., in which a 65-year-old man was bitten in the left foot by a free-running dog on his walk.

According to the current status of the investigation, the dog owner was walking with his small dog on the dam along the Dreisam from Neuershausen in the direction of Hugstetten, when an approx. 40 cm long dog with longer black fur (similar to a terrier) came running up from behind.

According to his own statements, in order to ward off an attack on his dog, the man tried to keep the strange dog at a distance with his left foot and was bitten.

Since the man first had to treat his wound due to illness, he was unable to locate the dog owner. He could only see them from afar. Apart from the fact that this was apparently a female person, he could not give any further description due to the distance. The police in Breisach on Tel. 07667 9117-0 or the March police station on Tel. 077665 93429-3 will receive information about the incident.
