Shocking revelation: Robbie Williams was apparently about to be murdered at the height of his career. The singer revealed this on a podcast.

A hitman was supposed to murder Robbie Williams (47) at the height of his career. The former Take That member has now revealed this im Podcast “This Past Weekend” with comedian Theo Von (41). He had never made it public before, but “there was an order to murder me,” said the 47-year-old.

Today, Williams apparently no longer has to worry because the matter has been settled. When asked what happened, he vaguely replies, “I have friends.” These are the “unseen things” that happen “when you become famous”.

Robbie Williams suffers from anxiety

There are different levels of fame and what they do with you, Williams continues. The first stage is the realization: “F—–ck!” Then there were others he couldn’t remember. Finally, stage four is the acceptance of the whole. Before that, one defends oneself against the fact that one’s privacy is being taken away. You try to be “normal” and go to all the “normal places that I can’t go because people want to kill me”.

He can also go to shops in England with a protective mask during the corona pandemic, but he suffers from anxiety “and I don’t like meeting strangers – but strangers want to meet me”. It is very uncomfortable for him, even if he only thinks about it. And if you do meet someone, you have to be super nice, “otherwise people will say, ‘He’s one of those famous people who are assholes.'” He hates being photographed – even if his wife Ayda Field ( 42), with whom he has been married since 2010, takes pictures together for Instagram.

He wants to please everyone

At the same time, Williams has the urge to always want to please everyone: “I want you to think I’m the nicest person you’ve ever met.” He feels terrible when he meets someone and they don’t have a good time with him. As a result, while the singer isn’t afraid to go outside, he just doesn’t want to. Even in Los Angeles, where he is less well known, he rarely goes out.

In the past, Williams has struggled with drug problems because he does the job of an extrovert but is an introvert. On the one hand he wants to be the focus of every party, but on the other hand he just wants to spend the whole day in his bedroom.
