Los Pericos de Puebla reported that their right pitcher Charles Hampshire, of 18 yearshas made the great leap to baseball in the United States, becoming the lto new hire the winningest draw in World Series history, New York City Yankees27-time MLB champions.
Hampshire, born in the capital Puebla, had his training in “The King of Sports” at the Academia de los Pericos de Puebla, being part of the first batch of players developed by this, and of which, he has now become the fifth player to leave the Puebla quarry for the nation of stars and stripes.

After passing through the academy, in 2021, at the age of 17signed with the Pericosmaking his debut with “The Green Ninth” in the Mexican Winter League that same year.
The right-handed pitcher has arrived at “The Bronx Bombers” thanks to Lee Sigman, a scout for New Yorkers who has found a hotbed of quality playersbecause throughout the past 2022 also recruited for the Yankees to two others baseball player people like Diego Hernandez and Santiago Gomez.
