PO SAN continues to make preparations ahead of the 2023 Eid homecoming season. One way to do this is by releasing a new rejuvenation or retrofit fleet. PO SAN has just released two retrofit fleets using the Golden Dragon chassis. The two buses use a modern body wrapped in a classic livery.
As seen by detikOto on the Instagram account @po_san_official, the bus uses Adiputro’s newest body, called SD-V 3++. This bus uses the concept of a single glass or single glass windshield, so that it looks cleaner and of course very comfortable for the visibility of the passengers in the front row.
The bus uses a classic livery option which is a combination of gray, light blue, dark blue, light pink and dark pink. There are also two images of coconut trees on the back of the body which are the hallmark of PO SAN. Embedded also the words ’33 Anniversary Edition’.
Looking at the interior, using a 2+2 seat format made by Aldilla which looks comfortable with a curved headrest, which is supported by a leg rest or calf rest. This bus also has entertainment services in the form of a large TV that hangs on the front roof.
The new PO SAN bus has several standard facilities, such as toilets and seat belts. It is not yet known exactly which route the two buses will be used for, but it is certain for inter-island routes, from Sumatra to Java.
