KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment together with the Siber and Sandi Negara (BSSN) Agency continues to investigate the surge in customer electricity bills.
Deputy for Maritime Sovereignty and Energy Coordination, Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the investigation process was still ongoing and on Friday (10/7) later his party would make a visit to the customer’s home included in the investigation sample data.
“Friday there will be a visit to Jabodetabek to recheck customer data with time series data on electricity bills for one year from certain customers that we have sampled,” Purbaya told Kontan.co.id, Wednesday (8/7).
He continued, at the same time Kemenko Marves was still waiting for the completeness of data from PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
Meanwhile, the data is stand meter data or the calculation of the customer’s electricity bills by PLN.
Previously, the electricity bill of PT PLN (Persero) customers in July 2020 still experienced a surge. Different from the previous month, a surge in complaints occurred because of less electricity usage than before.
For example, one of the PLN customers who complained about this on social media or twitter @ pln-123 on the @opadoang account. He provided proof of electricity bills this July which were higher than in June.
