BRAUNHARDT – The 4th enjoyment and garden festival for the Rhine-Main and southern Hesse region will take place on August 13th to 14th at Braunshardt Castle. Schloss Braunshardt has been perfectly restored, is centrally located and highly praised as a “pearl of the rococo”. The event area has also been enlarged so that sufficient distance is guaranteed.

The range includes: fresh herbs and perennials, climbing aids and rose stands, selected garden accessories, practical garden tools and accessories, fashion, jewellery, handmade products and much more.

In the pleasure area, the exhibitors will offer the following products and services: culinary delicacies and specialities, decorations and accessories, exquisite oils, herbs and spices, honey and jams, coffee and tea specialties, cheese and sausage specialties from Italy, Austria and France, confectionery and chocolate , literature, living & lifestyle, high-quality jewelery and watches, fabrics & table linen, table and kitchen culture, wine & champagne, whiskey & brandies.

A large street food area will also provide culinary delights. A whiff of wanderlust and exotic spices is once again blowing through the park of the castle. International chefs offer their specialties at more than 25 stands.

In a relaxed atmosphere, lovingly prepared finger food and special appetizers lure you to the forks. Have you ever tried steaming food stalls from Africa, Southeast Asia or Latin America? In Weiterstadt there is the opportunity to do so. Delicacies and specialties from many countries around the world leave nothing to be desired and of course vegans have the opportunity to feast without hesitation at various stands.

There will also be a glimpse into the palace: and it is not uncommon for visitors to be as enchanted as Queen Victoria once was, who raved in her diary that she remembered the rooms of the pleasure palace, the blue, the yellow, the purple and the green room, as “little colorful box of chocolates”.
