Starting at 5 PM, players can claim “Keylocker,” an isometric JRPG that blends turn-based combat with rhythm game mechanics. The unique premise puts players in the shoes of singer B0B0, who partners with a percussionist robot to battle systemic injustice, emphasizing rhythmic precision.
Released in September 2024, “Keylocker” has garnered nearly 240 Steam reviews, with 87% being positive. Despite its niche appeal, the game has been warmly received for its innovative gameplay. However, it currently lacks Polish language support.
Amanita Design’s Charming Pilgrims Arrives
The second free offering is “Pilgrims,” a whimsical adventure game from the acclaimed studio Amanita Design, known for titles like “Machinarium” and the “Samorost” series. This delightful game, launched in 2019, has accumulated over 5,000 Steam reviews, achieving a remarkable 96% approval rating.
“Pilgrims” is celebrated for its captivating atmosphere, reminiscent of vintage Czechoslovakian animation, and its distinctive humor. Players are drawn to its stunning audiovisual presentation and innovative card-based system, which allows for player-driven narrative choices. While it offers a brief experience, typically lasting one to two hours, its replayability is high due to the branching story paths. Notably, “Pilgrims” includes Polish subtitles, enhancing its accessibility.
