Plasencia taxi drivers denounce the intrusion into the sector by pirates
The taxi sector has been one of the most affected by the state of alarm, but also, now transport pirates have landed in Plasencia (Cáceres).
Unfair competition from individuals who are dedicated to moving people from one place to another and charge for it.
Taxi drivers have reported them to the local police:
«We are aware of this competition, of many people who do not have a license and we have gone to the town hall with license plates, with photos, we have only lacked the DNI. These people take others to the hospital or the railway station and there are many, almost as many as we are.
Regarding the result of his complaints, he points out that the police have spoken with some, and even denounced a woman after they provided photos and a video in which she was seen taking a ticket that a person who had left her car.
However, he assures that others “continue to do it” and do not know what other measures to take to stop this practice.
