Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) call Habib Rizieq Syihab too big to join a political party. MCC feel that Rizieq is more suitable as a national figure.
“Yes, Habib Rizieq has become a prominent figure in the ummah. So if he takes part directly in the party, that’s too small,” said Syaikhu, on Jalan Petamburan III, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (11/11/2020).
Syaikhu wanted Rizieq to stick with his figure as a scholar. PKS will continue to support Rizieq’s actions for the advancement of the nation.
“So let habib with his prowess to develop, invite all the children of this nation so that hopefully he, God give strength. Only we in the SME yes accompany him,” he explained.
However, if Rizieq wants to do practical politics, then PKS is ready to accommodate him. Rizieq will attract the party to get more seats in parliament.
“If there is also, if he (Rizieq) can want to do it right away, we are ready. But this is his role model, it should be even wider. If anyone uses it, whether it wants to become a legislative candidate from PKS or want to do things later management, of course we are very open. We are also very grateful because PKS itself has a strong intention to enlarge the seats in the DPR RI, “he said.
Previously, the return of Habib Rizieq Syihab (HRS) was welcomed by many of his supporters at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to the Petamburan area, Jakarta. PDIP senior politician Hendrawan Supratikno hopes that the reception of Rizieq’s arrival will not cause a new cluster of COVID-19.
