Pitchfork to Host Oklou at Rough Trade Below for Exclusive Zine Launch
NEW YORK, NY – Pitchfork will host French musician oklou at Rough Trade Below in New york City for a special event celebrating the launch of a new zine accompanying her recent Choke Enough album. The event, featuring a conversation between Oklou and Pitchfork contributor Gaca, will take place with tickets going on sale now.
The launch continues Pitchfork’s ongoing collaboration with AdHoc to produce limited-edition zines tied to artist cover stories.Attendees will receive a free copy of the Oklou zine with ticket purchase, and can purchase up to two additional copies at the event while supplies last. The zine delves into the making of Pitchfork’s Oklou cover story and the upcoming deluxe edition of choke Enough. Tickets are available for purchase at https://link.dice.fm/O93e7117f4dc.
For those unable to attend, the zine will be available for purchase online via the Rough Trade website (https://www.roughtrade.com/) and in-person at Rough Trade’s New york City location starting October 9, priced at $30.
Pitchfork previously launched zines for artists Bladee and Turnstile,each coinciding with a cover story and featuring launch events with the artists. The Oklou event marks the latest iteration of this initiative to offer fans a deeper, tangible connection to the magazine’s featured artists.
