Pink Floyd wants to sell music rights | Stars

entertainment">In addition to the musical rights, the band also sells the possibility to sell merchandise that can be linked to the group. Potential buyers would include Warner Music, Sony Music and BMG. Patrick McKenna, who represents the band, declined to comment on the rumours.

entertainment">The fact that the band members have agreed on the sale is unique in itself. After the group was founded in 1965 under the leadership of then singer Syd Barrett, many dramas followed. Barrett left after three years, after which bassist and vocalist Roger Waters said goodbye to the band in 1985. He then sued his former colleagues for using the name Pink Floyd. Appointing McKenna as a sales representative should guide the group through the sales process without cracks.
