Pilot of crashed Air Force plane dies – Together

A McDonnell Douglas A-4AR aircraft, registration C-295, belonging to the 5th Villa Reynolds Air Brigade, of the Argentine Air Force, crashed this Wednesday in a field south of Córdoba.

The pilot Gonzalo Britos Venturini managed to eject, but died at the scene, according to a statement from the Air Force.

“We regret to report that after the ejection carried out this morning, the reported A4AR pilot was found dead in the vicinity of the town of Villa Valeria (Córdoba province). The causes of the death of the Military Aviator are still unknown,” he said in Twitter the force.

The aircraft was doing flight exercises near Villa Valeria, in the south of Córdoba, and crashed in a field in that rural area, on the border with the province of San Luis.

The mayor of Villa Valeria, Darío Ardiles, in dialogue with Chain 3 confirmed that the doctors who arrived at the scene of the incident confirmed the death of the pilot.
