Pikmin will be back on Switch

Nintendo is preparing a remaster of Pikmin 3, which will arrive at the end of the year on its hybrid console.

Released on WiiU, Pikmin 3 had experienced moderate success, mainly due to poor sales of the Nintendo console. The Japanese giant, which has multiplied the reissues of WiiU games on Switch since the launch of its machine, has just announced the release of a remaster of the game on Switch.

This new edition of Pikmin 3 will integrate all the content of the original game as well as its multiple downloadable content and will be available in stores as of October 30.

Several small novelties will also be in the game, including a new two-player cooperative mode. Several elements of the gameplay will also be reviewed, such as the targeting system, the balance of the game and the level of difficulty.

The announcement of Pikmin 3 is not a big surprise since the title was supposed to already arrive this summer on the console, according to the rumors. Nintendo’s line-up of releases remains hopelessly empty for the moment at the end of the year, to the chagrin of players, many of whom are hearing a new Nintendo Direct.
