Diego Maradona gets the treatment of kings in his team, Jimnasia E Esgrima, after the club made a throne for his 59-year-old coach to sit on him in the matches of the opposing team in the Argentine soccer league at home.

The club, which is decorated with team colors, will be auctioned after each match.

Maradona, the 1986 World Cup winner with Argentina, whom many consider to be one of the best players in history, trained Jemnasia in September in an attempt to escape from relegation to the second division.

Jimnasia said that Maradona will sign copies of the throne to be sold in the club’s store, and signed the first chair on Friday, before facing Velez Sarsfield in the league.
