A virtuoso of modern kokle climbed the stage Laima Jansone, etnomūzikas group “Tautumeitas“and hooligans of classical music”Dagamba“.

The “Laiva” festival, which is one of the biggest cultural and entertainment events of this summer, gave the audience a real atmosphere of the festival – music without borders, a varied program, a powerful show, a lounge area and even a bar on the water.

As in the regular festival, there were no surprises. After the energetic opening of Laima Jansone’s festival, the actor and the representative of the Open-Air Museum Imants Vekmanis shared their story about the history of the Open-Air Museum in a sauce of healthy humor. “Tautumeitas” performed as the second festival, but just before the “Dagamba” show, the stage temporarily became an island of love led by the humor group “Little Prince”.

“This was a very special evening for the band” Dagamba “. “with whom we first collaborated just a year ago in the recording of the single” Nutcracker Rock “and filming the clip,” says the band ‘s musicians.

The organizers of the festival say special thanks to the people and companies who made this miracle happen. The magical atmosphere of the event was created by the light and stage company NA, the sound company “KM Sound” and the staff of the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum. Lighting artist Pāvels Armanis, sound directors Andris Ūze, Einārs Cintiņš and Artūrs Sedriks Sinkevičs.
