Zigfrīds Muktupāvels, Normunds Rutulis, Intars Busulis, Daumants Kalniņš, the group “Carnival Youth”, the choir “Anima”, the instrumental group led by Kristaps Krievkalns and, of course, the jubilee themselves delighted the audience at the singer’s anniversary concert. Along with Margarita Vilcāne, special guests also performed – fashion artist Asnāte Smeltere and maestro Raimonds Pauls. The concert was a conversation between the anniversary and other artists, in which such popular songs as “About the Last Page”, “Stay and Don’t Go”, “White Sun” and others were intertwined.
From the Grand Guild, from January 29 to February 26, you can see a multimedia exhibition of Margarita Vilcāne’s stage costumes, marking the unique place of fashion in the field of pop in the second half of the 20th century. Costume designer – Ārija Punenova.
