From September 10 to October 9, visitors to the Alfa shopping center will see an interactive exhibition of the TV3 series “Unloved”, created using augmented reality, in cooperation with the technology agency “Overly”.

The exhibition features photo stories of nineteen characters from the series, which were captured by photographer Lauris Vīksne. The pictures of the exhibition were taken in Riga, in the industrial quarter “Sporta Street 2”, which has also been one of the filming locations of the series. Using the “Overly” application, it is possible to bring the characters to life by listening to and getting acquainted with the stories spoken by each character – deeply true, harsh and also painful.

One of the stories that has been revealed in the exhibition is the role of Valeria, which is played by actress Zane Daudziņa in the series. Valerija is a woman who is a loving and faithful wife to her husband – mafia boss Makars (Ģirts Ķesteris). But Valeria doesn’t have real friends, because everyone knows her husband’s occupation, so Valeria tries to find life fulfilling by helping teenagers who have emotional childhood trauma.

“In the series, I portray a materially secure woman – Valery, who has nothing short of life – she has a fantastic husband, a great career, but the emotions she hides are a lack of family love. Valeria’s life story humanly explains how childhood injuries encourage slippery choices, yielding to temptation and the unfulfilled. And in this role, Valerija is a real, living person who shows that the “rich cry” and I hope that the visitors of the exhibition and the spectators of the series will be able to recognize the people around them in the roles, understanding why he makes such decisions! And just like in Valeria’s series, I want to invite the audience to be the helping hand that the other needs at the moment! ”

The series’ interactive exhibition will be on view until October 9 within the working hours of shopping center “Alfa”. – daily from 10:00 to 21:00
