A Life Remembered

Phil O’Donnell,a beloved resident of Limerick,passed away peacefully on April 2,2025,at University Hospital Limerick. She was 82.

Ms. O’Donnell was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. Her residence was at High Meadows, Gouldavoher Estate, Fr. Russell Road, Dooradoyle, Limerick.

Family Tributes

Ms. O’Donnell is pre-deceased by her husband, John O’Donnell. She is survived by:

  • Sons: Pat and Gary
  • Daughters: Linda, Marie, and SinĂ©ad
  • grandchildren: Rachael, Erin, Sean, John, Adam, Emmett, and Joanna
  • Great-Grandchildren: Evan and Jake
  • Sister: Dinah
  • And many cherished nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.

Also surviving are daughter-in-law Mary and SinĂ©ad’s partner, Dave, along with the extended O’Donnell and O’Donoghue families.

Funeral Services

A period of repose will be held at Cross’ Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Friday, April 4th, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Requiem Mass is scheduled for Saturday, April 5th, at 11:30 a.m.at St. Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue, followed by interment at Mount St. Oliver cemetery.

Expressions of Sympathy and Gratitude
