Philips Hue and Sonos have partnered too integrate Philips Hue smart lighting control with Sonos Voice Control, enabling hands-free operation of lights via voice command. The collaboration, announced today, allows Sonos Voice Control users to adjust Hue lights-including brightness, colour, and scenes-using voice commands like ”Hey Sonos, dim the lights” or “Hey Sonos, set the living room to Relax.”
This integration expands the capabilities of the Sonos Voice Control platform and offers a more seamless smart home experience for users invested in both ecosystems. Previously, controlling Philips Hue lights with voice required a separate hub or integration with other voice assistants. The partnership simplifies this process for Sonos users, eliminating the need for additional hardware or setup. The feature is rolling out today and will be available in over 30 countries.
