Philippe Lawson leaves the Éditions de L’Avenir

Nethys management announced that an amicable separation had taken place

Philippe Lawson is no longer the editorial director of Éditions de L’Avenir and L’Avenir Hebdo. The leaders of Nethys, parent company of the two companies, announced on Tuesday that an “amicable separation” had taken place. This departure follows the sales agreement entered into on July 9, by which Nethys sells the Éditions de L’Avenir and L’Avenir Hebdo (Moustique and Télé-Pocket) to the IPM press group.

This former journalist from Free and of L
’Echo recruited in 2018 by Stéphane Moreau, ex-CEO of Nethys, had not enjoyed the trust of the editorial staff for a long time. His relations with her were electric and on several occasions journalists had demanded her departure.
