Phil Collins and his ex-wife Orianne Cevey broke up for the second time after Cevey married another man in Las Vegas in August, US media reports Monday based on previous reports by TMZ. The singer would also want to file a case to get Cevey out of his $ 33 million (about 28 million euros) mansion.
Have resources TMZ let Cevey know that she should leave his Florida home. That had to be done last Friday afternoon at the latest.
Cevey reportedly failed to meet that requirement; instead, she would have changed the home’s security codes, been unreasonable to the staff, and threatened to release “false and embarrassing allegations” about Collins unless he renegotiates their 2008 divorce settlement.
Collins is reportedly planning to file an eviction lawsuit against his ex this week. Sources add that he has no intention of renegotiating the divorce terms, as he feels she “wasted” the original settlement on a series of bad investments and her expensive divorce from investment banker Charles Mejjati in 2016.
Collins and Cevey first met when Cevey worked as a Collins translator during his tour of Switzerland in 1994. They married in 1999 and had two sons together: Nicholas and Matthew. They divorced in 2008, which cost Collins £ 42 million at the time.
After Cevey divorced her second husband in 2016, she and Collins picked up again. In August, however, Cevey was reportedly married to another man, even though she had told the musician that she was on a business trip.
