On August 21, the popular American singer Pharrell Williams released a video for the song Entrepreneur, recorded in tandem with rapper Jay-Z.
The composition itself and the video for it are dedicated to racism in the US business sphere. With their new release, the artists wanted to convey that national minorities in America face a huge number of blocks and systemic flaws when they want to build their business. At the very least, they initially have the worst medical and educational conditions. The video shows not actors and dancers, but real black people with their fates. The credits tell what they were able to achieve as professionals.
The heroes of the video were collected all over the world, so the shooting was carried out in several countries. The stars wanted to show so many people that there was no place for themselves in the 5-minute video. Speaking out against racism, the rappers included a minute of silence in the clip for their colleague Nipsey Hussle, who was killed this year.
A good example of how popular music can defend social positions and make the world a little better.
