The Liège region found itself a little groggy ten days ago when the Walloon Region unilaterally decided to stop financing the two extensions of the tram line to Herstal and Seraing in order to favour cheaper priority buses. But after a few days, the mobilisation against this decision is starting to get organised.
After a first demonstration organised on Thursday by the CSC in Herstal, on a construction site that had already been well advanced for a year, another gathering, this time for citizens, is being set up for this Saturday, September 28. It is the work of Arnaud Callut, a 36-year-old resident of Grivegnée, who works in railway civil engineering.
