The LASK will probably have to do without midfield director Peter Michorl in the coming season – HSV recently showed great interest. As the Upper Austria news report in their Saturday edition, the Linzers have already found a successor in the Danish Mads Emil Madsen.
A basic agreement was confirmed by Madsen’s Silkeborg IF association. The Danish newspaper Extra Blade assumes a transfer fee of around 1.6 million euros.
That would make Madsen a new record transfer for Linz. The 1.89-meter U21 international has played 31 competitive games this season – with three goals and seven assists.
