Peter Heerschop used to think it was not a nice sight to see how his father was exercising. That is why the comedian thinks he knows how people look at him now that he is getting older, he tells Ruud de Wild in the podcast 30 Minutes Raw.
“When I used to watch my dad when he was exercising, it just didn’t look like it,” said 59-year-old Heerschop. “I now know how people look at me.”
“In my head it is athletic, it is supple, it is beautiful, but it is not,” Heerschop assesses his own athletic ability. “It is terrible. A worn knee, a shoulder not good, sometimes not being able to get a name … damn. That.”
Heerschop graduated from the Academy of Physical Education before his career as a comedian. The born Bussumer hopes to celebrate his sixtieth birthday on September 7.
