“The constitutional and fundamental right to health is seriously affected if the measures that we demand today are not taken in a timely manner so that the COVID-19 tests are carried out as soon as possible. Every day we are receiving on average between 50 and 60 complaints asking us to intervene in the District Office before the EPS, ”said Ramos Sánchez.
Most of the complaints are addressed to Famisanar, Salud Total, Coomeva, Nueva EPS, Comparta, Sura, Sanitas, Mutual Ser for being the most denounced for delays in the COVID-19 tests and medical orders. Users say that none of these EPSs also answer phones.
Finally, the District Ombudsman asked the Supersalud that in addition to not being in a timely manner performing the COVID-19 tests, the EPSs that received the members of Medimás are not attending to them, just as they do not respect the failures of guardianships that bring rights. acquired by court order, especially for children with disabilities and older adults.
