Andris Morozovs admits that inflation is currently the biggest challenge for insurers. “Inflation is a serious economic disease, the recovery is generally slow and painful. We also see the next year as very busy for both our clients and us,” he says.
Interestingly, “If” in Latvia employs more IT professionals than insurance experts. Riga is a very important IT center not only for the Baltic company, but for the whole “If” group.
Tell the most important thing about you as a person in the Latvian business environment.
I joined insurance shortly after graduation and encountered quite complex issues and intellectual challenges in the industry to stay long. I am an introvert by nature and there are probably more introverts in insurance than in any other industry. Sometimes I feel like an extrovert in a professional environment. I am in an industry that allows me to develop, improve and work with fantastic people who inspire me and with whom what I have achieved together gives me satisfaction.
