Atlus today announced that Persona 5 Royal has surpassed 1.4 million worldwide sales. This enriched version of the JRPG featuring Joker and his gang was released on October 31, 2019 in Japan, then March 31, 2020 in the West with texts in French, Italian, Spanish and German, in addition to English.
The game Person 5 of origin, which had only been entitled to an English translation, had as a reminder 3.2 million units on PS3 and PS4 last December. Atlus takes the opportunity to announce that l’action-RPG Persona 5 Scramble : The Phantom Strikers has sold 480,000 copies in Asia on PS4 and Switch, its western location is still pending. Add to this the 500,000 sales in a month of Persona 4 : Golden on Steam, and the Persona franchise now represents 13 million games sold worldwide.
