NEW YORK – New York City authorities found a man shot and wounded early Sunday morning in a Brooklyn neighborhood, according to a report.
Police arrived at the scene, located between Watkins Street and Livonia Avenue in the Brownsville neighborhood, around 12:57 am Sunday, in response to a 9-1-1 call. Upon arrival, they saw the victim, a 22-year-old man, with gunshot wounds to the torso, an arm and a leg.
Paramedics transported the man to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The uniformed officer has a person of interest in custody and they recovered a weapon. the identity of the victim is unknown.
This is a case under investigation.
