TRIBUN-BALI.COM – League 1 club Persebaya Surabaya has finally officially signed a striker from Singapore, Song Ui-young.
South Korean player Song Ui-yong was chosen by coach Aji Santoso to fill the Southeast Asian foreign player slot at Persebaya Surabaya.
The arrival of Song Ui-yong to Persebaya Surabaya is in accordance with the new regulations in the 2023/2024 League 1 competition.

It is recorded that Persebaya Surabaya is now strengthened by five foreign players starting from Song Ui-young, Sho Yamamoto, Ze Valente, Bruno Moreira and Paulo Victor.
Launching via the official Persebaya Surabaya Instagram account @officialpersebaya, Friday 2 June 2023, the club nicknamed Bajul Ijo officially announced the arrival of Song Ui-young.
Persebaya Surabaya’s draftsman, Aji Santoso, is likely to strengthen the breaking power of Bajul Ijo’s front line by recruiting foreign players.
Three imported players will be plotted on the front line of Persebaya Surabaya, including Sho Yamamoto on the left wing, Song Ui-yong on the right wing, and Paulo Victor as a finisher.
Meanwhile Bruno Moreira and Ze Valente will strengthen the middle sector concocted by Aji Santoso.
