Perpetrators of Mutilation of Male Corpses at Kalibata City Apartments Arrested in Depok

Suara.com – Police have secured the perpetrators of the murder and mutilation against a man named Rinaldi Harley Wismanu (32) whose body was found in Kalibata City Apartments, Pancoran, South Jakarta, Wednesday (16/9/2020).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pancoran Police, Iptu Supardi, said the perpetrator had been secured by the ranks of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) of Polda Metro Jaya in Depok, West Java.

“The perpetrator was arrested by the Regional Police in Depok,” Supardi told reporters on Wednesday (16/9/2020).

According to Supardi, the victim was killed by the perpetrator in the West Jakarta area.

Furthermore, the mutilated corpse was kept by the perpetrator on the 16th floor of the Ebony Tower, Kalibata City Apartment.

“So, on the 16th floor, his body was stored here, where the perpetrator put the victim. Apparently the body had been there for several days,” he said.

Even so, Supardi did not specify how many perpetrators were successfully secured. He only said that the perpetrator had been taken to Polda Metro Jaya.

Rinaldi was previously found dead in the Kalibata City Apartments. The man is suspected of being a victim of mutilation.

Meanwhile, Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus said that the victim had been reported missing by the family since 9 September 2020.

“Missing since September 9 was declared missing by his family,” Yusri told reporters on Wednesday (16/9/2020).

Based on the report received by the police, the man has the characteristics of white skin, sharp nose and wave black hair. Meanwhile, the height of the man is estimated at 170cm with the ideal body posture.
