“Prosecutors wanted to give Kuzminykh a subpoena for tomorrow’s court session and began to block it, but Kuzminykh ignored them, pushed one of the prosecutors away (he fell to the floor) and left the courtroom,” the journalists noted.
The video published by “Strana” shows that a man with a video camera is walking towards the people’s deputy through the framework of a metal detector. Kuzminykh pushed him and fell himself, then helped the fallen man to get up and quickly left the building.

Sergey Kuzminykh passed to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019 as a majoritarian candidate (he ran in the 67th constituency in the Zhytomyr region). Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova announced on January 31 that signed a suspicion to the people’s deputy Kuzminykh.
On February 1, NABU announced that Kuzminykh ignores subpoenas about a summons to law enforcement agencies, motivating the failure to appear by being in a medical facility.
On February 2, the press secretary of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Yulia Paliychuk, said that Kuzminykh asked to be excluded him from among the members of the faction – “temporarily, with the possibility of returning.”

He expressed readiness and interest “to tell what happened and defend his position in court.” Lawyer of the People’s Deputy Larisa Krivoruchko wrote on Facebook on February 3 that Kuzminykh did not arrive on January 31 as a witness when the NABU detective was summoned, because was in the hospital. “The approximate duration of treatment, according to doctors’ forecasts, is 10 days,” Krivoruchko noted.
