Pedri and Pina Honored with Barça Players Award
Recognizing Excellence On and Off the Pitch
FC Barcelona stars Pedri González and Clàudia Pina have been named recipients of the prestigious Barça Players 2025 Award, celebrating their outstanding sporting achievements alongside their dedication to the club and society.
Pedri Garners Second Accolade
At just 22, Pedri has cemented his status as a midfield maestro for Barça, admired for his technical skill, tactical acumen, and vision. Beyond his footballing prowess, he is recognized for his grounded demeanor and active involvement in social causes.
Since February, Pedri has served as an ambassador for the Barça Genuine Foundation, championing the inclusion of individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport. He also frequently lends his support to initiatives benefiting his native Canary Islands.
Known for his calm conduct on the field, Pedri consistently avoids confrontations, prioritizing swift restarts. He has also been noted for numerous thoughtful interactions with FC Barcelona supporters.
This marks the second time Pedri has received this honor, having previously been recognized in 2022.
Pina Earns Inaugural Award
Forward Clàudia Pina celebrates her first Barça Players Award, acknowledging her drive, commitment, and leadership on the pitch. Hailing from Montcada i Reixac, her talent is matched by her esteemed humility, self-discipline, and civic engagement.
Pina has actively supported various charitable organizations and participated in solidarity events, collaborating with both the Barça Foundation and other regional bodies.
With this award, Pina succeeds Aitana Bonmatí, who was the recipient for the previous four years.
A formal ceremony to present the awards is scheduled in the coming weeks.
