The need for vaccines, according to Endah, is to prepare the body to fight disease more quickly and effectively so that it doesn’t get sick.
“So if we are exposed to germs, but we have been vaccinated, then when there is an infection our body will form immunity, form antibodies and then these antibodies will fight these germs, so that eventually the germs can be eliminated by the body and we are healthy. immunity for protection at a later date, “he said.
However, in people who have not received the vaccine, they will go through a sick phase when germs enter the body. Meanwhile, in people who have received the vaccine before certain viruses infect, their bodies already have protection and antibodies have been formed from the vaccine.
