The Investigative Police (PDI) culminated in the last hours the “Operation Clone”, developed by detectives from the East Robbery Brigade.

The objective of this operation was to detect a criminal gang “specialized in slamming doors and lockups”; and with a focus on the eastern and southern sectors of Santiago.

This gang would have committed at least seven crimes and was made up -directly and indirectly- of the 12 people who were arrested in the framework of “Operation Clone.”

Among those detainees was the former Colo Colo player Jason Silva, which would have had some kind of participation in the robberies.

In addition, they were discovered Messaging conversations between him and one of the leaders of the group.

Silva has already been arrested three times in 2019: twice for carrying a false driver’s license; and another for driving while intoxicated and bribery of the Carabineros

After the formalization of the band, the ex-athlete was left with house arrest while the investigation lasts.

Finally, the PDI detailed that within the framework of this investigation it also recovered the high-end vehicles in which several of the detainees were mobilized, which they sold to others to subjects dedicated to cloning and subsequent commercialization.

“The gang used the money obtained to buy from firearms and drugs “added the police.
