TALLAHASSEE, FL – professional Bull Riders (PBR) will bring its Unleash The Beast series and major concerts to Florida State University’s Doak Campbell Stadium on March 13-14, 2026, marking a landmark event for the university and the Big Bend region.
The event will transform the football stadium into a bull riding arena, requiring 2,500 tons (5.5 million pounds) of a special clay-sand blend to cover approximately 30,000 square feet of the field. The surface is designed to provide a firm yet forgiving base for both bulls and riders. It will take 20 semi-trucks to transport the equipment, and a crew of around 50 will spend a week setting up and dismantling the venue.

The PBR Unleash The Beast series showcases the world’s top bull riders and bulls, with each competition contributing to qualification for the PBR World Finals in Fort Worth, Texas. over 50 of the highest-ranked bucking bulls – members of the American Bucking bull breed averaging 1,800 pounds – will compete against riders who average 140 pounds.
Ticket sales dates and concert artist performances will be announced in the coming weeks.
