Starbreeze recently celebrated the tenth anniversary of co-op shooter Payday. During this celebration, they took the opportunity to talk a bit about the upcoming Payday 3, which is expected to appear sometime in 2023.
Among other things, they mentioned that the game will take place in New York City and according to Starbreeze themselves, the gaming world will be a living and enormous representation of the city. In terms of action, it takes place several years after the events in Payday 2 where the gang has put crime on the shelf. But after a dramatic event, Dallas, Hoxton, Chains and Wolf are forced back to life as bank robbers again.
