Patti labelle to Headline Free Concert Celebrating 250 Years of U.S. Navy & Marine Corps
philadelphia, PA – Music icon Patti LaBelle will headline a free concert at Independence Mall on September 10, 2025, marking a key event in the year-long celebration of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. navy adn Marine Corps. The event promises a full evening of entertainment culminating in a fireworks display.
The concert offers a unique opportunity for the public to honor the service and dedication of naval personnel and Marines throughout american history. With a week of commemorative events planned,this concert serves as a centerpiece,offering free access to a nationally recognized performer and fostering community engagement with those who serve.The full concert will be broadcast nationally on C-SPAN.
Joining LaBelle on stage will be American Idol alum Justin Guarini, a Doylestown native, and the acclaimed bluegrass group Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. Actor, comedian, and retired Marine officer rob Riggle will host the event.
Doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. prior to the concert,Independence Mall will host a picnic from noon to 5 p.m., including a special recognition ceremony honoring veterans.
