Paterson celebrates his first week at the restaurant – NBC New York (47)

NEW JERSEY — While the Thanksgiving festivities are winding down, there’s still plenty of food to harvest before the end of the year. In Paterson, some local restaurants are seeking new diners with special offers as part of the city’s first Restaurant Week.

From November 25 to Friday, December 2, Paterson will host Restaurant Week in an effort to shine a light on the city’s gastronomy.

In addition to highlighting Paterson’s fine dining scene, Restaurant Week aims to help these businesses continue their recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Friday, Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh announced a special price that will be awarded to participating restaurants that also brings the history of the New Jersey city to light.

“For $17.92, which represents 1792 when this city was founded, customers will get an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert,” Sayegh said of the special promotion.
